Twitch CEO Dan Clancy said after speaking with Rockstar that multiplayer would launch in 2027. Rockstar has not officially confirmed this timeframe or GTA 6 Online details.

Unused 2XP tokens are reportedly retained in MW4 on the same platform. Reports also suggest timers will run only during gameplay rather than in lobbies or menus. Activision has not clearly confirmed either detail in an identifiable primary source.
